The city of Tartarin and the Tarasque

Between Avignon and Camargue, the town of Tarascon is still associated with tales and legends which she was, it seems, the theater in 48 years after JC.

The tradition teaches that St. Martha, from Palestine, landed at Tarascon where rampant Tarasque then, a terrible monster who lived in the Rhone.
