A village in the valley of the High Verdon

The village of Beauvezer was the first time in a building on a hill but destroyed by fire in 1728, it was rebuilt closer to the Verdon. It was classified "resort" by the Academy of Medicine in 1925. This ranking has enabled the village early to take advantage of tourism.
